LifeLongLearning: Reinvention Book Thoughts and Notes #8

Reinvention: How to Make the Rest of your Life the Best of your Life is the book I am reading/ studying.  Posts 4, 5, 6, 7 (post 7 has them all) explored questions to ask before a job interview.  Posts 8 and 9 will look at 8 questions to help determine exactly what you want in your next position.

With thanksgiving close by, take a few minutes and be thankful for all you have.

Today’s Key Thought is: Dig deeper by asking yourself questions.  This post will have the first 1-4.  Post 9 will have 5-8.

  1. Exactly what would your ideal job look like?
  2. Look around you in the marketplace.  If you could have any job that you see, doing anything, what exactly would it be?
  3. Project yourself into the future.  What sort of work would you like to be doing in three to five years?
  4. what size or type of company would you like to work for?

This is from the AudioTech summary of the book page 10.
